Gurugram. In a tragic incident, a young man was beaten to death in Kasan village, located in the IMT Manesar police station area, on Friday night. The incident stemmed from a conflict earlier in the day when the victim, Raja Kumar, had gone to purchase marijuana from the accused.
According to the complaint filed by Raja’s brother, Pintu, with the police, Raja, who worked at a general store owned by Rahul Chauhan in Bas Kushla village, was addicted to marijuana. On Friday morning, Raja went to Sanjay in Kasan village to buy marijuana. During this transaction, an argument broke out, leading to a physical altercation between Raja and Sanjay, along with Sanjay’s sons, Gaurav and Saurabh.
Raja returned to Rahul’s shop and recounted the incident. That night, Raja, Rahul, and another individual named Sonu decided to confront Sanjay in Kasan village. When Rahul attempted to address the earlier altercation, the accused lost their temper and viciously beat Raja once again.
After the brutal attack, the accused abandoned Raja outside their home. Rahul and others rushed Raja to the civil hospital, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival. The IMT Manesar police have registered a case of murder against Sanjay, Gaurav, and Saurabh.
Inspector Devendra, the officer in charge of the IMT Manesar police station, confirmed the incident and stated that an investigation is underway. He assured that the accused would be apprehended soon.
