In a dramatic turn of events, a 30-year-old man was rushed to a hospital after a woman injured his private parts with a metal spatula in an attempt to fend off his alleged unwanted advances in Maharashtra’s Thane district. The incident occurred in the Bhiwandi area on Friday afternoon, leaving the accused, Anil Satyanarayan Raccha, in severe pain and requiring medical attention.
According to police reports, Raccha, who was intoxicated at the time, allegedly tried to misbehave with the 26-year-old woman at her home. The two were reportedly acquainted. Around 4:30 PM on Friday, Raccha entered the woman’s residence and made inappropriate sexual overtures, including flashing her.
In a bid to protect herself, the woman raised an alarm and ran to her kitchen, where she grabbed a metal spatula. She then struck Raccha with the utensil, inflicting injuries on his genitals, according to the First Information Report (FIR) filed by the police.
Raccha, badly injured, immediately fled the scene to seek medical assistance and was subsequently hospitalized. The Bhiwandi town police have since registered a case against Raccha under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) for outraging the modesty of a woman, sexual harassment, and trespass.
Authorities have confirmed that Raccha has not yet been arrested due to his ongoing hospitalization, but further legal actions are expected once he is discharged.
