Gurugram: In a dramatic turn of events, Gurugram police have arrested two individuals in connection with the kidnapping of a hotel owner from Gopal Nagar. The suspects allegedly abducted the hotel owner, Suraj, out of suspicion that he was involved in the disappearance of one of the accused’s sisters. The police successfully rescued the victim from the clutches of the kidnappers and have placed the two suspects in remand for further investigation. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend additional suspects involved in the crime.
According to a police spokesperson, the incident was reported on August 29, when a man filed a complaint at Sector-14 police station. The complainant informed the police that on August 28, his brother, Suraj, was forcibly taken away by some individuals from their hotel in Gopal Nagar. Acting on the complaint, a case was registered at Sector-14 police station.
Following the complaint, the Crime Branch Farrukhnagar swung into action and managed to apprehend two suspects at the Ichhapuri Chowk. The accused have been identified as Monu Gothwal, a resident of Gwal Pahari, and Naveen, a resident of Rehnawa village.
During police interrogation, Monu Gothwal revealed that his sister had gone missing, and he suspected that Suraj had information about her whereabouts. Motivated by this suspicion and holding a grudge, Monu, along with his associates, decided to kidnap Suraj to extract information.
The arrested individuals have been presented in court and placed under police remand for further questioning. The police are actively investigating the case and are on the lookout for additional suspects involved in the abduction.
