Supervisor with Kalka-Pinjore Municipal Committee Dies in Motorcycle-Tractor Collision

Ambala: A tragic accident near Shahazadpur has claimed the life of Saurabh Kumar, a 30-year-old supervisor with the Kalka-Pinjore Municipal Committee, following a collision between his motorcycle and a tractor-trolley on Sunday night. Police are investigating the incident, suspecting reckless driving as the cause.

Details of the Incident

Saurabh Kumar, employed under the Haryana Kaushal Rozgar Nigam (HKRN), was riding his motorcycle when a tractor-trolley, allegedly driven recklessly, collided with him. The accident occurred near Shahazadpur in Ambala. Saurabh’s younger brother, Gaurav, was the first to reach the scene and rushed him to the hospital with the help of passersby. Unfortunately, Saurabh was declared brought dead upon arrival.

Investigation Underway

Gaurav reported to the police that the tractor-trolley had been abandoned at the accident site and lacked a number plate. Upon further investigation, authorities identified the tractor’s owner through its engine and chassis numbers. The vehicle was traced back to Kamal, a resident of Rajouli village.

The police have registered a case and are actively investigating the circumstances leading to the accident. Reckless driving is being considered a primary factor, and efforts are being made to locate the driver and gather more information about the incident.
