Special Camps in Bhiwani for Document Correction and Pension Issues: Haryana Government Initiative

Bhiwani, July 9, 2024 — In a significant move to address public grievances promptly, the Haryana government has announced a special campaign to resolve various issues faced by the citizens. This initiative, aimed at providing immediate relief, will run from July 11 to July 15, covering villages, blocks, and municipal committee levels in Bhiwani.

Campaign Details

Bhiwani’s District Citizen Resources and Information Officer, Khushwant Singh, stated that the campaign aims to resolve issues such as corrections in Family ID cards, old age pensions, disability pensions, unmarried pensions, and property IDs. Camps will be set up across 312 villages and at the municipal committee level to facilitate this process.

Efficient Problem-Solving

Khushwant Singh highlighted that the necessary corrections would be made on the spot using computers and additional deputy commissioners’ login corrections and Z-cream level corrections. Over 200 data operators have been assigned duties to ensure smooth operation of these camps, which will run from 9 am to 5 pm daily. Information has been disseminated to all BLOs (Booth Level Officers) to ensure maximum participation and awareness.

Community Response

Residents of Bhiwani, including Phool Singh Indora, Chameli Devi, Bhagat Singh, and Mukesh Kumar, expressed their relief and appreciation for the government’s initiative. They shared their struggles with online corrections for Family ID cards and pensions, often requiring multiple visits to CHC centers and various departments. The decision to resolve these issues at their doorstep through these special camps has been welcomed as a commendable step by the state government.
