Gurugram, Haryana: Former minister and senior BJP leader Rao Narbir Singh has officially announced his intention to contest the upcoming election from the Badshahpur Assembly segment in Gurugram. Addressing a gathering of party workers at his residence in Dharuhera Chungi, Singh expressed confidence in securing the BJP ticket this time, after being denied it in the previous election.
“I have made full preparations to contest the election from Badshahpur. I will definitely get the BJP ticket. Last time, I was not given a ticket under a conspiracy, but this time the party is not going to make any such mistake,” said Singh. He urged workers from both Gurugram and Rewari districts to rally their support and encourage their relatives in Badshahpur to back his campaign.
Rao Narbir Singh, who has previously served as an MLA and minister, emphasized the crucial role of party workers in his political journey. “The workers are the backbone of any politician. Every time before contesting an election, I come to meet my workers of Rewari district. It is because of you (workers) that I got successful in becoming an MLA and minister thrice. If you people keep your blessings, this time too, we will definitely be a part of the government again,” he stated.
Singh’s announcement has energized the local BJP cadres, who are now gearing up for the electoral battle in the Badshahpur Assembly segment. His supporters believe that his strong connection with the grassroots workers and his track record will boost his chances of success in the upcoming election.
