The truck, reportedly loaded with approximately 360 plastic sacks, was seized after being flagged down by the police based on a tip-off. The sacks contained packets labeled as “soda ash,” but the contents are suspected to be explosive materials.

Acting on information provided by the truck driver, the police, led by Circle Officer Yadavendra Yadav and Palia Station Officer Manbodh Tiwari, conducted a raid at a warehouse in Dhyanpur, located in the Tharu region. During the raid, three additional sacks labeled “Made in China” were found, raising further suspicion. The police have taken four individuals into custody for questioning.

Sources indicate that the powder found in the sacks is believed to be used in the manufacturing of explosives. The police have involved teams from Customs, Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and the Goods and Services Tax (GST) department to thoroughly investigate the matter. The seized material is estimated to be worth crores of rupees.

The operation began when police received a tip-off about a DCM truck traveling from Bandar Bharari village near Chandan Chowki towards Delhi-Sonipat, allegedly carrying suspicious powder. The police swiftly acted on this information and intercepted the truck on Dudhwa Road. The seizure of the suspected material has caused significant concern in the region.

Circle Officer Yadavendra Yadav confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and that all possible angles are being explored with the assistance of Customs, GST, and SSB teams. The case has become a major topic of discussion in the area, with many awaiting the outcome of the investigation. The full nature of the seized powder will only be determined after a detailed forensic analysis.

Superintendent of Police Ganesh Prasad Saha emphasized that the investigation is being conducted at multiple levels, and further details will be disclosed once the examination of the material is complete.
