Circular Details

In the circular issued on Wednesday, it was emphasized that “morning assembly should begin with the National Anthem as per standard protocol.” This initiative seeks to foster a uniform practice of morning assemblies across all schools in Jammu and Kashmir.

Purpose and Implementation

The circular highlighted the importance of morning assemblies in nurturing values such as moral integrity, community spirit, and mental tranquility. Guidelines for Schools

Among the suggested steps, the department emphasized the inclusion of guest speakers to inspire students, environmental awareness activities, and educational segments on the dangers of drug abuse. These additions aim to enhance the educational experience and instill essential values in students.

Official Statement

The Principal Secretary’s directive underscores the significance of morning assemblies as platforms for cultivating a sense of unity and discipline among students. Schools are expected to implement these guidelines promptly to ensure consistency and promote a shared sense of community across the Union Territory.
