GURGAON: In a significant reshuffle within the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTCP), several high-level transfers were executed late Friday night. The reshuffle coincides with the imposition of the election code of conduct as the state prepares for the upcoming elections, necessitating a reorganization of key administrative positions.
One of the most notable changes includes the promotion of Rajesh Kaushik, who previously served as the district town planner (DTP) in Gurgaon. Kaushik has now been elevated to the position of senior town planner (STP) and assigned to the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (HRera). Praveen Kumar, formerly the DTP in Panipat, will replace Kaushik as DTP Planning for Gurgaon.
In other significant moves, Sanjeev Maan, who served as the STP at the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA), has been promoted to chief town planner (CTP) and posted at the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIDC) in Panchkula. Dharambir Khatri, who was previously DTP at GMDA, has been promoted to STP at the Municipal Corporation of Gurgaon (MCG).
Additionally, Dinesh Singh, previously an assistant town planner (ATP), has been promoted to DTP Narnaul. Sumit, formerly DTP Planning at MCG, has been transferred to Fatehabad with an additional charge of Sirsa. Anchal Rohilla, who was ATP in Gurgaon, has been transferred to the Sirsa DTP Office.
Three new assistant town planners—Naveen Bharua, Jyoti Yadav, and Rahul Dabra—have been appointed to the DTP Planning office in Gurgaon. Anish Grover has been newly appointed as ATP in the DTP Enforcement office.
This reshuffle is part of the state government’s strategy to realign administrative roles, ensuring smooth operations in the town planning department during the election period.
