Pataudi, August 11, 2024:
In a major boost to the development of Pataudi Assembly Constituency, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for 87 projects worth ₹184 crore during a public rally in Pataudi. Additionally, he announced a ₹10 crore grant for further development works in the region.
During the Jan Aashirwad Rally, CM Saini announced the establishment of a Veterinary Polyclinic and Animal Trauma Center in the village of Tajpur Nagar, Gurugram, with an estimated cost of ₹1 crore. Furthermore, a Polytechnic College will be constructed in the village of Majri at a cost of ₹3.50 crore. The Pataudi-Farrukhnagar zone has also been upgraded from a low potential zone to a medium potential zone, leading to an increase in license fees for various residential and commercial areas, which will be used for the city’s development.
CM Saini also addressed the issue of power supply in the area, announcing the construction of three 33 KV powerhouses in the villages of Siwari, Jaat, and Daulatabad at a cost of ₹20.50 crore. The construction of a new building for the Manesar Municipal Corporation, costing approximately ₹76 crore, was also announced. Additionally, discussions with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) will be held to upgrade the Hodal-Nuh and Pataudi-Patauda roads to National Highway status.
The CM assured the public that all demands presented by the rally’s organizer and local MLA Satyaprakash Jarawata will be considered for feasibility and addressed accordingly. He highlighted the government’s commitment to addressing the people’s issues promptly, emphasizing the significant progress made in Haryana under the double-engine government over the past decade.
Regarding opposition criticism, CM Saini stated that those questioning the government’s achievements should first account for their own tenure. He pointed out that during the Congress regime, there were only six medical colleges in Haryana, which has now increased to 15, with MBBS seats rising from 700 to 2,185. Similarly, the number of girls’ colleges has doubled from 31 to 63.
Development in Pataudi Over the Last Decade
CM Saini detailed the development works carried out in the Pataudi Assembly constituency over the past 10 years, including ₹121 crore spent on road construction, bridges, ROBs, RUBs, and mandi development. Additionally, ₹14.36 crore was spent on improving roads in IST Sector-8. In urban and rural areas, 112 tube wells, 13 boosting stations, and 3 sewage treatment plants have been established. A canal-based water supply project in Farrukhnagar, Pataudi, and Helimandi has also been completed at a cost of ₹205 crore.
Affordable Gas Cylinders and Farmer Support
CM Saini announced that the government has decided to provide 12 gas cylinders per year at a subsidized rate of ₹500 each, benefiting approximately 49 lakh families. The scheme has been in effect since August 1. Additionally, due to low rainfall this season, the government will provide a bonus of ₹2,000 per acre to farmers to alleviate their financial burden. Haryana has also become the first state in India to purchase all crops at the Minimum Support Price (MSP).
Commitment to Sports Development
Minister of State for Sports, Sanjay Singh, emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting athletes, announcing an event on August 17 to honor Haryana athletes who win medals at the Paris Olympics.
The rally was attended by several dignitaries, including Swami Dharmdev, former MP Ashok Tanwar, Surendra Poonia, Usha Priyadarshi, Kamal Yadav, former MLA Bimla Chaudhary, Manoj Sharma, Sunder Lal Yadav, DC Nishant Kumar Yadav, CP Vikas Arora, Municipal Commissioner Narhari Bangar, and Manesar Commissioner Ashok Garg.
