Gurugram, Haryana – In a recent legal battle that captured local attention, the court ordered the de-sealing of a property involved in the case of Mrs. Pushpa Middha & Anr. vs. DTP. The case was adeptly handled by renowned Advocate Anil Yadav, representing the applicant/plaintiff.
The issue arose when the Department of Town and Country Planning (DTP) Enforcement sealed the property without awareness of a prior court order dated June 5, 2024. Advocate Anil Yadav filed an application on behalf of his client on June 6, 2024, requesting the de-sealing of the property.
DTP Enforcement, appeared before the court and confirmed that the sealing occurred due to a lack of awareness of the court’s directive. Upon realizing the oversight, the DTP swiftly de-sealed the property, which was verified by the plaintiff’s counsel.
Advocate Anil Yadav confirmed the de-sealing with his clients, leading to the withdrawal of the application as it had become redundant. The court officially dismissed the application on June 7, 2024.
In his statement, Advocate Yadav expressed satisfaction with the prompt resolution, emphasizing the importance of adherence to judicial orders. “This case underscores the necessity for government bodies to stay informed about legal proceedings to prevent such issues,” he stated.
The case, presided over by CJ(SD) Saurabh Gupta, has been adjourned until July 1, 2024, for further proceedings.
