Violence Erupts in Gurugram’s Bhimnagar: Youths Attack Home with Stones and Gunfire

Gurugram, August 29, 2024 — Tensions escalated in Gurugram’s Bhimnagar area as a group of youths allegedly attacked a resident’s home with stones and gunfire late on the night of August 27. The incident has prompted the local police to register a case and initiate an investigation.

According to the complaint lodged by Bhimnagar resident Raju, the incident occurred during a religious event (Jagran) near his home. The accused, identified as Karan, Mohit, Senu, Sameer, and Deepak, all residents of Bhimnagar, allegedly began throwing stones and firing shots at Raju’s house. When confronted, the assailants reportedly threatened to kill Raju before fleeing the scene.

The entire episode was captured on CCTV, which has provided crucial evidence for the investigation. The police have recovered bullet casings from the scene and are actively searching for the suspects.
