Man Arrested in Gurgaon for Allegedly Beating Youth to Death Over Suspected Affair

In a tragic incident in Jatauli Mandi of Pataudi, Gurgaon, a 26-year-old man, Pawan Kumar, was allegedly beaten to death by a man who suspected an affair between his wife and the victim. The incident has shocked the local community and has led to the arrest of the primary suspect.

Incident Details:

Pawan Kumar’s family rushed to Faridpur road on Sunday morning after receiving information from locals that he was found lying in a pool of blood. The severely injured Kumar was immediately taken to a local hospital, but due to the seriousness of his condition, he was referred to another hospital.

According to Pawan’s brother, Rahul, the victim was able to provide some details while being transferred to the other hospital. Rahul said, “While being transferred to the other hospital, Pawan told me that some individuals had beaten him and thrown him into a drain near Jatauli College.”

Rahul has accused Rajesh alias Lambu, along with Ankit, Sangam, Mohan Halwai, and two unknown individuals, of assaulting his brother.

Police Action:

The police, led by SI Manoj Kumar, in charge of the Crime Branch Farrukhnagar, and a team from the Pataudi police station, conducted a joint operation and arrested Rajesh alias Lambu, a resident of Jatauli village, on Monday.

According to the police investigation, Rajesh suspected that his wife was having an affair with Pawan Kumar. Fueled by jealousy and anger, Rajesh, along with an accomplice who is currently absconding, allegedly assaulted Pawan, leading to his death.

A case has been registered against Rajesh and his accomplice at the Pataudi police station. The police are continuing their efforts to apprehend the other individuals involved in the incident.
