Gurgaon, 10 July 2024 – In a heart-wrenching incident, a 17-year-old student lost his life in a car accident at Atul Kataria Chowk flyover on Monday. The young student was on his way from Sector-14 to Udyog Vihar for tuition classes when the accident occurred at approximately 11.15 am.

According to Sector-14 Inspector Anil Kumar, the tragic event unfolded when the student’s Hyundai i10 car hit the divider on the Atul Kataria Chowk flyover, causing the vehicle to overturn and land on the opposite side of the road. Passersby quickly alerted the police, who arrived promptly at the scene. Despite their efforts, the teenager was declared dead upon arrival at the civil hospital.

The student’s father, Manish Sharma, disclosed to the police that his son had taken the car without his knowledge. “No one else was injured, and no other vehicle was involved in the accident. The family did not express any suspicions regarding the circumstances of his death,” Inspector Kumar reported. Following the autopsy, the police handed over the body to the grieving family.

Given that the family did not lodge any complaint or raise any suspicions, the police did not register a case.
